I own around 10 razors and was excited to get the T2 but when it arrived I was somewhat disappointed. It didn't have a premium feel like I hoped it would. I love my other Rockwell razor so I had high expectations. The knurling was slippery, the numbers are very hard to see (gun metal) and when I shaved with it I didn't feel like it was worth the hefty price tag. When I use it I feel like I need to be very careful not to cut myself. I have an adjustable razor that was $100 cheaper and I prefer using it to the T2. Unfortunately, I regret my purchase.
The clippers cut nice but they have pretty rough edges on the clippers them self
Had been looking to get a 6S, but did not pull the trigger because I already have multiple DE razors, and didn’t really NEED another.
But when I saw the 6S in gold plate, and knowing Rockwell’s fantastic build quality, I couldn’t stop myself…. I. Had. To. Have. It.
I shave daily. I have used this razor exclusively since receiving it. I found the 3plate was perfect for my daily use.
Razor feels good in the hand. Easy to maneuver over the face. Even if I’m clumsy in the morning I have yet to slice myself.
The gold plating is really well done. I accidentally dropped one of the plates on the tile floor. The scratch is hardly noticeable. The gold plate is still intact.
Cheers to Rockwell!!
The Rockwell 6c is my first safety razor and boy am I glad I we went with it! The adjustable plates have helped me learn proper technique and build confidence with shaving with a safety razor without cutting myself to ribbons. 10/10 would buy again
6s is the best! How they make an efficient razor so mild and non-irritating is a miracle! This just adds a collector quality and nice smooth surface to an already superb razor.
It’s an amazing razor! My partner commented on how clean a shaving I had.
As expected quality and performance the best DE razor with a flair of Gold exclusivity. Thank you Rockwell.
For the Price you get great quality products, the razor being the main item feels very sturdy and doesnt pull on the skin , as my first safety razor i had to get use to it at first but feels natural after a couple of use
Good razor and very nice feel and look. However aluminium pieces are too weak and deform easy. Had two in two years and broke same way. Support stopped responding. Suggest different model or brand
Just when you think the 6s couldn't be improved, it has proved me wrong! The 24kt gold plating is unique with the matte finish! The legendary quality is uncompromising! The casing and packaging is classy! You can't go wrong with a purchase of this razor! It will be something I pass down to my family one day!
Holy cow. I previously shaved with the Rockwell 6c, which is terrific, but this is a whole other level!
The razor heft really makes for a magical shave and the Gold makes it a generational heirloom. I like a mild shave, and the 2 baseplate is just perfect for me, but I love that it’s adjustable to your liking and have toyed with some of the more aggressive plates.
This razor is so magnificent that my son is already itching to get it someday, but I’m personally hoping that day is really far off!
I have both the T2 and 6c in stainless steel. These have replaced my Merkur Vision as my favorite razor(s). I do favor the 6c over the T2 a bit more. With that said I now have a matching stand for both the T2 and 6C. It addsthat rugged, yet refined edge to my shave cave. I only wish I could find such quality stands for all of my safety and straight razors.
That gold 6c would look amazing in the cave.
See you guys on the"cutting edge". KWB. Out!
I have the stainless version of this razor and have found it to be very good. The 24-karat version is far superior. Very efficient, a smooth shaver and great to hook at.
Went to the Rockwell S6 from cartridge razors. Love the weight of the Rockwell, I let it do all the work. I don’t allow my beard to grow out much, so for me starting with the R1 didn’t feel like it gave me a close enough shave, so I jumped to the R4 and that is where I found my happy place. Very smooth and effortless when shaving, and my beard doesn’t seem to stubble as quick as when I was using the cartridge.
The 6s/6c are my favorite safety razors by far. I own both. When I saw this 24k gold edition, I knew I had to get it. It’s stunning. Everything great about the 6s in a beautiful gold plating. Right now I’m holding on to it as a collectors piece and will continue to shave with my original silver 6s. Happy to own this limited edition gold razor!
Well, using my new 24 karat Gold Rockwell razor I couldn’t help but remember James Bond 007 in the movie Goldfinger.
My first shave was on number four and my shave was excellent! Felt like James Bond 007 license to shave!
I have many high end adjustable, custom made open combs and superslants. This razor has become my “go-to” daily shavers. This razor is mild but efficient. The #6 plate is my daily choice. To top it off it looks beautiful in the gold plating.
I love the Rockwell 6C. It shaves smoothly and I get no razor burn.
I’ve used many, many top of the line DE Razors over many years and nothing comes even close to the Rockwell 6S …. NOTHING. An engineering marvel that really gets the job done WITHOUT a hassle and WITHOUT unnecessary aggressiveness. You won’t be disappointed …. GO FOR IT.
I own close to 80 double edge safety razors and this is simply the best! I use plate #4 every second day to shave and I enjoy this razor like no other!
I have been wanting a Rockwell 6S since I started wet shaving. The 24K gold plated anniversary edition made me finally pull the trigger. What a beautiful razor! Rockwell quality! Love it!
