I had sent back the black aluminum one and ordered the stainless steel one from razor emporium. I am very happy with the stainless steel. I am waiting for refund for the black aluminum one.

Fine deal in every way v

I love the new Rockwell SETPOINT adjustable razor. I thought my Rockwell 6s was fabulous, and it still is, but I like this better. It doesn’t have the blade overhang on the edges, its adjustable, the handle is longer, the weight is perfect, and it cleans easily since it’s a 2 piece razor. Yes, it’s pricey, but it’s made to last.
I’m grateful to have it.Great job Rockwell.

I have gotten 10 or more great shave with this razor. It looks like it will be in my top 5 of my 36 razors I have. No matter if you are just starting out or have been shaving for years this razor will work great for you

I rated it sight unseen, just knowing the quality of your products. I am out of the country right now so it is waiting for me to get back. I think it has all the best design elements.

My first safety razor was the leaf twig. I had previously shaved with the Gillette cartridges. I like the leaf twig because it had a small head and I was able to maneuver it easily. The thing I disliked about the leaf was the tapered handle. It was hard for me to hold onto. I watched a lot of reviews online and decided to go with the Rockwell 6S. I figured I might as well bite the bullet and get stainless steel. I found the 6S a lot heavier then the twig and was not sure I like the weight of it and thought maybe I should have went with the aluminum one. Also, I did not understand about the numbers on the blade plates. I realized by watching a video that the number had to be on the bottom facing down and I thought the number had to be on the top. The 6S does give a very smooth shave. I am still getting used to it and not sure about the weight still and trying to find the correct blade angle when I shave. Overall, I think it is a well-made razor and I just need to get used to shaving with it and I am thinking maybe I should have spent a little bit more money and bought the T 2 adjustable. For now, I will persevere through the learning curve and adapt to the way it shaves.

Exceptional razor. The flexibility allows you to tailor your shave for any circumstance. Well made, looks great, and easy to use.

Great product using it for my Setpoint and 6S razors. No worry now getting my razors from underneath sink now.

Best shave on setting #4. Using Gem double edge blades. This razor provides less irritation of any one razor I have and I got about 80 of them!!!!

I bought my first Rockwell safety razor, the 6C, in 2021. I liked the way it shaved so much that four months later I bought the Matte 6S. And it has been my favorite for over five years. To celebrate I decided to treat myself to the ultimate Rockwell Gold 6S. I now have two heirloom stainless steel safety razors that will give great shaves for decades to come. I have no words of praise for the 6S that haven't been said by everyone who owns one. For me, the Rockwell 6S may go down as the best safety razor ever. It is a unique design that is ideal for those wet shaving for the first time to veteran shavers like me who have had hundreds of BBS shaves. And now there is the Rockwell SETPOINT adjustable that some think might challenge the 6S for that "King of the Hill" title.

As for as the razor I like it a lot. It may be the best one that I have. I am disappointed that the razor does not come in a box like the other razors like the 6s and T2 come in.

I’m a big fan of my 6c, and appreciate an (almost) autopilot great shave. The Setpoint has noticeable more blade feel, even using the milder settings. Despite what felt to me a more efficient razor than my 6c I couldn’t get the same smooth results I’ve come to expect. Lastly, there’s an audible rattle when shaking off excess water, etc. I hear the aluminum version doesn’t have this.

I have used my SETPOINT only the once and have to say I really impressed. The build quality and the way it feels in the hand is amazing. Being able to adjust the settings whilst shaving is a bonus. I paid the extra for the Stainless Steel model and I’m really pleased I did. Really happy as the SETPOINT sits well among my other most most treasured Rockwell Razor collection.

Coming from the T2, the Setpoint feels feather light, which first made it awkward to use and had me worried that there wasn't enough heft behind it for my coarse hair.

But I was wrong! Glides smooth and the weight actually helps make sure you don't press too hard. I haven't nicked myself since! Definitely adjust the gap based on the length and coarseness of your stubble to avoid snagging or painful pulling and less irritation.

I have a Rockwell 2C and purchase the 2/4 plate to try and see if it would give me a closer shave. It does and it does it without cutting me as other razors have. Very pleased with my purchase.

I chose the stainless version. I love the weight and paired with the complimentary Rockwell blades, my Setpoint is getting significant face time. I like the slightly shorter head size over my T2 as it seems to be more maneuverable. Easy to adjust on the fly; easy to clean when done. This is an outstanding razor.

I've never used a safety razor prior to purchasing this one. It's not difficult to learn how to use. I wish this bundle had the other plates (R2, R4, R5, R6).

This is my endgame razor. It's well built and shaves just as good as my 6S razor.

I've been wet shaving for 12 years. I would say the 6s is extremely gentle, even on setting 5 of 6. No nicks or irritation whatsoever. Does very well under the nose, which has always been a problem to me. It feels very well made and the handle is quite grippy. The only downside I've noticed compared to some other razors is that the area under the blade is a little bit small, which causes the razor to clog unless I frequently rinse it out. I use Barrister and Mann soap with a dryer/stiffer consistency, so perhaps that's the problem. Perhaps for the next version, have individual plates with deeper backside to help with the clogging. Overall an awesome razor and well worth the price.
