Rockwell R1 - Double Edge Safety Razor

I believe this is the perfect razor to start the transition from shaving with a disposable razor! It is very light weight and you should use your same shaving technique to get started.The great advantage is that you only have to replace the razor blade since the razor is made from quality metals. This will save you money and help to save our environment too. Definitely worth giving it a try.

Very nice razor overall. The overall finish is excellent. It has a good weight and produces a good shave. The gap in the “doors” is not equal so one side of the blade sticks out further than the other. I guess this is to be expected at this price point.

I was so excited to brag about my new rockwell razor. I've followed this brand for a very long time. Always admiring from afar. When I finally was able to afford one, i jumped at the opportunity but unfortunately it never arrived. The tracking claims it was delivered to my mailbox. I however don't have an available mailbox so there's no way they delivered it and it was on my front door either like the other 2 packages I had waiting for me. USPS have refused a refund and I can't get a hold of Rockwell to communicate with them my issue.

I like the quality and so far I am impressed with how it works.

I have been using one of those 3 bladed cartridge razors for over 20 years, I swore by it. I got to the point where it was costing me a fortune for the blades and started to look for alternates. I read a ton of reviews about the R1 and figured I’d give it a try for the cost of a pack of 3 blade cartridges. All I can say is OMG, total game changer. I was nervous about using a real “razor blade” as I didn’t want to cut myself to pieces, but my very first shave was cut and nick free! I will NEVER go back to the other razors. I’m ordering a second one now for my travel case. I don’t leave reviews on stuff usually, but this is truly worth it. I even told folks at work about it, and 6 people ordered one while we were on the call (true story). 5 Stars all day!

Works ok, but you got to be carefull with it or you mightl nic your self.

Never arrived

I love it and it takes me back 50 years

I wanted to do a return on at least one of the razors because my shaving is advanced beyond all of the different plates, which are a hassle, but they won't return my emails. Pretty sad. I guess their 60 day guarantee is phony because they're hiding in Canada.

This is my first time using a safety razor and I had no trouble. I'm sure it's possible to cut yourself if you really try, but I had no nicks or problems.
