Rockwell 2C Adjustable Chrome Razor

I started out with an inexpensive $12 safety razor that just wasn't working well. Rather than give up, I got the Rockwell 6C and went through all the plates from 1-5 and then back down to settle on a #2 for daily and #3 for 2-3 days growth. I like having the ability to adjust aggressiveness depending on how many days of growth I have. I like the heft of the razor and the handle has never slipped. As for the blades, I have found other blades that I find more comfortable than the Rockwell blades that come with the razor.

Fantastic quality. This is a real tool and I appreciate the lifetime nature of the razor.
I do find the handle a little short and the head is bulky. I guess I am used to the smaller head of the razors I have been using for the past 50 years. If you could streamline the head it would be easier to shave around my gray beard. Thanks for a great product and being part of a more sustainable solution to shaving.

Just could not get a good shave with this razor.

I started shaving my head during Covid and have tried at least 10 different types of branded Plastic Razors and Battery Powered 5 bladed razors.

I was recommend the Rockwell 2C by a work colleague(who also shaves his head).....and I thought I'd give the Safety Razor a go....

For reference I have fine hair....

It took a couple of gos to get the hang of it,as the Razor itself is quite weighty(which is a good thing as you don't need to apply hardly any pressure....especially on the head)....I use setting 1 for my head and face using the Rockwell Blades.

The 2C is nothing short of PERFECTION when it comes to shaving my face and head.....it's like I've had a visit to the barbers every other day.

If like me you found the whole idea of using a single blade which is extreamly sharp daunting....all I can say is it really does become come easy once you get the hang of it and I promise you your face and head will have never been so smooth and clean.

I'd also recommend using a soap and brush instead of foam or gel as there is definitely a better glide with the 2C when using a soap that you've "whipped up" yourself.

The Razor itself is extreamly well made and 100% worth the money you spend on it.....(I can't lie.....I never thought I'd spend that amount of money on a Razor)....but it's the best £31 I've ever spent.

If feels extreamly comfortable in your hand and(sorry to repeat myself)once you get the hang of it it will completely level up your shaving routine.

I kept bugging the retailer because it took like a week to arrive. I received it today and of course i had to try it and I LOVE IT!!!!!

A great safety razor for the price. Feels solid and I like that I can switch between the two settings.

So after fifty years of using cartridge razors,I was given a safety razor gift set for Christmas by a well known razor manufacturer.
Fine Until I used it,cuts,nick and razor burn,I've got sensitive skin so I thought that's the end to the safety razor.
I did some research and time after time Rockwell was mentioned as an excellent starter safety razor.Went on the website and found a cracking deal for a 2C,2-3 years supply of Rockwell blades and a blades safe, p&p was reasonable so I thought why not and I'm pleased to say what a difference.
No nicks,cuts or razor burn,the razor has a good wieght to it ,no effort to shave with it and the finish of the razor is first class.
Well happy with my purchase and look forward to many years using my 2C.......

I was a Harry’s man but had too many instances of razor burn and ingrown hairs. This razor solved all that. Those problems are non-existent.

Made in China. Razor broke after 2.5 years. Thanks for replacing it!
