Rockwell 6S with Matching Inkwell Stand

The razor looks solid and the stainless steel material seems durable. However, the overall finishing feels a bit rough for a product in this price range.

The threading of the handle could also be improved. When reassembling the razor, it sometimes takes a few attempts to align and screw it in properly. With higher-quality razors the thread usually catches immediately and closes very smoothly.

The handle texture feels quite rough in the hand and not very comfortable during use. Personally, I also don’t see much benefit in the coating. Polished stainless steel would probably look more refined and feel nicer to hold.

Overall, it’s not a bad razor, but for this price I expected a bit more precision and refinement in the machining and finishing.

Picked up the Rockwell 6S in black. Started with an EJ Kelvin, but this Rockwell is simply in another league in comparison. I'm not a razor collector, so I envision this razor is the only razor I'll ever need. Very happy with the shave and build quality of this razor in addition to the fact I can choose from 6 plate settings. Highly recommend.

I chose the 6S because the handle is made in the US. Unfortunately, the blades are outsourced to China. As for the products, I was disappointed that there wasn't a tutorial on YT for them. The shave cream doesn't foam up like Proraso, but it is satisfactory for now. Haven't tried the charcoal soap. Aftershave and pre-shave oil does it's job. I like it so far, especially the ability to swap the inserts as my shaving prowess improves. I will be switching to Proraso products when I run out of my current batch, and will likely switch to the Feather blades in about two years. If you want a good American made adjustable DE handle, buy it. But get Proraso products and Feather Japanese steel blades. The Japanese have been making sharp edges since before the Samurai.

The Rockwell 6S is an excellent razor, well worth the money.

No nicks, no irritation, no pain. It’s smooth, easy to use, highly adjustable, and delivers a clean, great-looking result every time. Simple, efficient, and actually enjoyable to use.

I am individual normally prone to ingrown hairs and razor bumps. All those issues have nearly vanished after a week or two using this All in one shave kit. Best of all, the 6S in made in America, good product!

I had been looking for a razor for a long time. I tried different brands but I was always left unsatisfied. It wasn’t till I ordered the Rockwell 6s that I finally found what I was looking for. The 6s makes shaving so much easier for me. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone looking for an amazing clean shave.

I just used this last night on 2 weeks growth with a Rapira Platinum Lux blade. I used the #6 setting, it took awhile to get everything off. Both sides of the razor clogged, as I've read in some reviews. I've used my Razorock game changer .68 gap, and it takes care of the hair, without clogging. I usually shave once a week. After clearing the hair out, it seemed to do better. Maybe with a sharper blade, it would've taken less time, don't know for sure, but since it was my first time using it, I didn't want to butcher myself. It gave less feedback, than my Razorock, when I did the alum block, which I appreciated.
The tabs stick out the sides, they need to update the design so you don't have to worry about that. Maybe make 2 larger drain holes, instead of 3 on each side, that might help with the clogging.
Overall, not bad, it's bulky, since it has two sides per plate, kind of hard to see what you're doing on your lip. I'll use it more often and see how it does with different blades.
