Rockwell has a great product here! I have another of their razors as well.and after my recent experience, I am so glad that bought their products.
When I bought the R1, I put it away for a bit. I had a few razors and I had to get around to it.
Three weeks later I said time to try the R!, but upon inspection I noticed that the safety bar was severly bent on one side. I am sure it was damaged in transit.
I wrote Rockwell's general mailbox and explained my situation. Next day, I got an email from Gareth, the company president, and without any hesitation I had a new R1 a few days later. No proof of purchase necessary and no need to return the defective razor. What a nice thing to do. Now that is how to build a business.
The R! is an amazing product! Not aggressive. Easy to clean and to change heads. Heavy. Great handle. With a Rockwell blade I had one of my best shaves ever!
But, as incredible as the R1 is, a company that will stand behind their products for life and honour it, makes it even better!
